About Me

I currently teach high school Chemistry, Environmental Science, and a STEM course. In addition to being a certified high school science teacher, I also have a Master's in Science.  My own education and experiences have lead me to have a genuine passion for all things science as well as a strong desire to help high school students connect textbook concepts to their everyday world. I also enjoy inspiring students to delve deeper into the sciences while easing any fears they may have.

In my free time, I spend time with my three dogs and my cat, I also really love visiting my family.

In addition, I run a student-centered STEM club that, in partnership with some of my students, I created and designed it to be inclusive for all students.  This includes those who may struggle with traditional assessment methods or those who are seeking additional enrichment.
